Summer sale ~ 2012

This was our very first sale. We did it at a garage sale that our mom was holding, what a perfect place! We were so excited to be able to finally do this! We started with the baking. We decided to do lemon, blueberry, double chocolate, and blueberry chocolate chip
Measuring and pouring

Mix, Mix, Mix!
And bake!
Next, we packaged and labeled the scones. The next day, we all woke up excited! We got together at about 7:00am and set up. We did it on a picnic table at the end of our driveway.
This was our table of scones

This was our sign
Then, we waited. We sold quit a bit of scones, but then after lunch, rain started coming. at first it was light, but then it started down pouring! We quickly, using our STRONG muscles picked up the picnic table and carried it under the porch. We re-set up there.
Our new Spot
We moved quickly, but it still took a long time to re-set up our stand

We still try to make the best of it!

Because of the rain, we didn't sell very much, but we hoped things would go well the next day! And it did! We sold almost all of our scones. We had so much fun together!
Crazy face!

We really just can't stop laughing

Oh, we also sold lemonade...
and we must admit that we sometimes got thirsty!

Drum roll please......We raised......$87! It was our first sale, so we thought that was amazing! We were able to make 9 blankets, buy cards for them, and buy little fabric hearts that we now put on all of our blankets.

First, we filled out cards

 Then we tied the blankets...

And tied little bears on them....

The last thing to do was deliver them...
We were so blessed to be able to do this, so we would like to thank everyone who helped with this. We would like to thank our family for all the love and support! And we would like to thank you for your willingness to give and help other people. God bless and we can't wait to do our next sale!

  1. I want to thank our parents who helped us get everything ready, and of course since we weren't able to go to the store ourselves, we needed them to drive us places. Thank you moms for that. Thank you to anyone who bought scones. we are so happy you could be part of this godly experience.
