How it works

Well, for almost a year now, we have thought of many different ways to go about this. We have now decided on the best way:

Twice a year (one in the winter, one in the summer) we will hold a sale. At the beginning of the sale we will decide where to hold the sale, when it will be, and then who the blankets will go to. So far we have only done the children's hospital, but we will reach out to nursing homes, homeless shelters, animal shelters, hospitals, etc. Our goal for each sale is to be able to make 30-40 blankets. Then we split it up. Half of the blankets will be delivered one month, than the other half a couple months later. That way we are always delivering blankets and then we know that we have enough time.

Example: We hold our summer, 2013 sale in July. July we will spend making 15-20 blankets, and then deliver them in August. Then, in October we will do the next half and deliver them in late October, early November. Then in December we will hold our winter sale, with a different group of people, or animals, to give them to.
